After returning from pyramid, me, grampa and Akak Jack headed to the hospital to visit grandma. So far, her blood has improved, but we’re still praying for her that she gets to do the eye op soon..
Dinner was with Akak Jack and grampa after leaving the hosp.. Didn’t really know where to go but we ended up at Hong Lim Teochew Porridge, SS2.. yes i did have that the night before. =.=

The top left: salted vege which i still don’t like cos it’s sourish
Next to it: Brinjals-all time fav, we asked for a portion for 3, and that portion they gave-i could finish it on my own if i wanted to
Next to brinjals: Beans, quite ok, but spicy.. i prefer the ones from Cheras.
Bottom: Tofu and an egg-i didn’t try
Next to it: Bitter gourds.. bitter.. i dislike bitter gourds
And you thought that wasn’t enough!
Bottom: Leeks with lap cheong. i heart leeks, but they tend to be quite stringy and get stuck in your teeth
next to the leeks: Fish- bawal hitam. quite nice but a tad overcooked..
Next to the fish: Tofu, fresh!
On top of the tofu: 2 Fried egs-yum! i can never resist fried eggs..
Next to the beans: Braised peanuts, quite nice but could be from the can..
Overall,the food was good, but as you know since it’s teochew porridge, it can get quite pricy. This meal cost Akak Jack RM44.. sometimes, it’s more worth it eating at a Tai Chao place..
