Sleeping at 3-woke up at 8 ish. wow.. not easy..
but i woke up first to clear some stuff up around the house. thought dear would sleep longer, but he woke up in the end.
Breakfast at KFC!
We went to the Kepong branch. the service was so disappointing! There were only a few tables occupied, yet, our food maybe almost took 20 minutes! And the cashier girl was not really friendly!
I thought there’s a reason it’s called fast food. looks like it’s becoming slow food which is unhealthy! sigh..
Anyway, i had the AM Jr breakfast.. seriously, KFC deceives with pics..
Pic from the KFC site.
My milo looked alright..
plus it wasn’t overly sweet-good.
Sigh.. that’s why they have Professional food photographers!
Dear actually ordered the AM twister gave , but they gave the sausage twister.
And i didn’t find any hash browns in it! 😦
Overall, bad service, deceiving portions.. but yet, dear likes the twister, so that’s why we come back once in a while.
Came home quite late as we were stuck in a jam all the way from Kepong to towards my house just because of an accident! but thank God we knew an internal road, so we used that..
Came home, watched tv while dear washed his clothes.
Lunch: Fu Shan coffeeshop
I had chap fan.. well all of us had that..
My plate consisted of Baked beans with egg, stewed potatoes, and Ku Loo Yuk (Deeo fried pork with sweet and sour sauce)
Went home.. dear had a nap while i watched Guliana and Bill-quit a hilarious couple! lol..
read my IB past year papes. I find this time exams quite scary cos i’m literally relying on pat year papers.
Watched a movie-i’ll get back to you about the title! lol.
Headed for church.
After church-dinner with Akak Jean and Akak Carol at Seri Kembangan to try the paper-wrapped chicken at Restoran Leong Ya Indah.
Famous for the paper-wrapped chicken! RM2.60/piece
I had half.. i finished the sauce though!! The sauce is so addictive.
Other dishes- Stir Fried Yau Mak (RM8) with garlic.. was alright..
Yong Tau Fu: I had two brinjals which were quite good. RM1/piece
The ham choy tofu soup was really good! Perfect balance of taste! (RM8)
We added a butter-style fish. RM20
Was quite good as the fish was not over cooked. it was still soft and smooth and think partly due to the thin slices.
Akak Jean thinks the “sou” is nicer at Andy’s.
We also added a Cha Yuk but no pic. grampa said the sauce was good but the meat was slightly tough.
The bill came up to RM83.. quite pricy but it was just due to the fish.
Food: 8/10 | Price: 7/10 | Ambience: 6/10 | Service: 7/10
