“Intiutive lunch”, unintuitive dinner

After surfing the net, doing things other than academic related, we headed out to Curve. I needed to do some Christmas shopping before it’s too late. I won’t reveal what i bought though, it’s a surprise! hehe.

Anyways, lunch was at Ikano. Gramps had something from the “mamak” and grampa was craving pizza. So i got him a slice at Modesto’s Easy Pizza. He got the Pizza Hawaiiana, which was RM7.50 before tax. Imagine this, he said it was too cheesy! And cheese is the most expensive part! lol..

Anyways, for me, i had Shihlin Taiwan snacks.. the sweet plum potatoes, minus the sweet plum.

Rm4.. much better without the sweet plum flavour. Very popular cos when i was waiting for mine, there were 3 orders of this after mine!

Then headed to Borders for some reads.. with a Toffee Nut Latte from Starbucks

No Whip, low fat Grande of course. hehe.

Got some books for Grandma to read.

Walked about after that cos i went hunting for presents..

I was very tempted to buy Cathay’s popcorn.. so sweet and delish. BUT, i walked so much and lost track of time. was caught up in Cold Storage. If i had loads of money, i think i’d spend it all there.

Anyway, so i still had time to get popcorn, but i was feeling full. so i didn’t get any! That’s intuitive eating! hehe.

It was raining cats and dogs during mass..

Me and dear had a tiff about him working Sunday night. I just feel that i won’t get to see him cos by the time he comes back, he’s sleeping. and when he gets up, i’m in classes. i only get to spend half the day with him.

Anyway, dinner was supposed to be at Thai Pan Delights in Kuchai Lama, but Akak Jean changed it to Andy’s at Bandar Menjelara

No prob for me, cos i love the fish!!

Deep fried fish (butter style) RM24

I love the “hairs”, i quote grandma. lol.. i think it’s an egg floss or something. i was practically focused on this fish and nothing else!! The fish was moist though deep fried. and the coating is delish. i’m not sure what they used as the coating, but i think it was cornflakes?

fried rice

We also got a fried rice (RM16), i had half the egg white.. Lots of shrimps. yum.

Marmite chicken (RM13).. was quite nice. but i think honey would be better. i was never fond of marmite. what was amazing though was that the chicken kinda still stayed crispy!

Salted Vege and tofu soup (RM11). Grampa really liked it. The soup was quite good. but i didn’t want to stuff myself with it.

We also ordered a Sweet potato leaves.. (RM10). Quite nice. but once again, i was more focused on the deep fried fish.

We also ordered steam fish which i didn’t eat. hehe.

Steam Ginger fish (RM18). I just tried some of the ginger paste thing. yuck. lol..

Our damage was RM108.60.

Food: 8/10 | Price: 6/10 | Ambience: 6.5/10 | Service: 7/10

Andy’s: No.42 & 44, Jalan 3/62D, Medan Putra Business Centre, Bandar Menjalara, 52200, KL. 03-6275 9951

Now do you know why i say it was unintuitive eating? I could’ve just gone on and on with the fish. but the fish was finished! ha!

Anyways, came home, had a prune to digest to foods. and also some nuts cos everyone was enjoying it!
