Me and gramps have come to the point that we’ve eaten out so often, that we do not know what to eat anymore. i feel like deciding where to eat, a chore.
So after much contemplation, we decided to go to Shiang Hee for dinner. Something simple..
We asked for Lala, but turns out, they were available yesterday, and we missed it!
Anyway, we went with Cantonese Mihun (RM5)
We requested that it’d be crispier.. cos every time, they serve it in a deep dish and everything becomes soggy. but all they did this time was to make sure a small part of the noodles do not get the gravy.. so only a SMALL part is crispy.. sigh.. But the starchy egg gravy was delicious and addictive!!
Hokkien Mee.. RM5.. Grandma surprisingly didn’t request for any extra pork lard. her tum tums not well lately..
Hokkien me was Ok. nothing to shout about. I still prefer coming here for Tai Chao.
Thai Style tofu (RM6)… This was ok too. but i found the tofu too soft. They should use a firmer tofu for this dish. maybe a tau Kwa? Sauce was delish though. I still miss Hoppy’s thai style tofu. oh well.
Grampa said this would’ve gone better with rice. but we’re skipping rice today, cos there’s a big dinner tomorrow! Woo hoo. you’re in for something to drool for! hehe.
